This week was a wonderful, wonderful blur. One of my best friends got married this past weekend and it was very special and memorable!
I always love photographing weddings because capturing how the couple overflows with love is by far one of the most marvelous things. This wedding I had the privilege of having a new vantage point, recording the wedding. I found that capturing all the special memories through video is just as important as you get all the quirky little things that you may not always remember:)
I was also able to help coordinate this wedding, making sure the bridal party was happy, everyone knew where to go, and carrying around a 30 lb. emergency bag for everything forgotten when you get so busy. This is probably one of my favorite jobs at a wedding just because I love being the organized one that everyone goes to with questions:) I did come to the realization that I do get to keep some of that coordinating ability being the photographer, which made me thankful that God has put me right where I need to be in life!
My pictures this week have a pretty common theme;) Some of these pictures are from the wedding this past weekend and the rest are from past weddings that I have been a part of as I always go through all of them whenever there is a wedding to reminisce.
This Bible was from World War II, the Bride’s Grandfather was a Chaplain during the war. The rings were also the Bride’s grandmothers.
“Myself with 13 Things”
There were way more than thirteen things in this 30 lb. Emergency Kit on the wedding day but this is what was left:)
One of my all time favorite pictures, my grandparents hands after 50 years of marriage.
A favorite from an engagement session. Can you tell I was all about love this week? 😉
Congratulations to the very happy couple, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Egan<3
Leave them some love everybody!
